Project Overview:
Nestled in the coastal suburb of Swanbourne, this large two-storey townhouse was in need of a full interior and exterior refresh. Exposure to the elements had taken a toll on its rendered walls, timberwork, and eaves, while inside, the home’s surfaces required meticulous preparation and repainting to restore their vibrancy. With a combination of traditional painting techniques and expert timber refinishing, this project aimed to revive the home’s aesthetic while ensuring long-lasting protection.
Challenges Faced:
Working on a large two-storey townhouse required precise planning, particularly with accessing high areas and ensuring even coverage across various surfaces. Timber restoration presented its own set of challenges, with a need for careful sanding and layering of stain to maintain the natural warmth and character of the wood. Coastal exposure also meant that surface preparation was crucial to prevent future deterioration and ensure a long-lasting finish.
A Home Reimagined
Beyond paint and stain, this project transformed a tired coastal residence into a refined and refreshed living space. With every surface carefully prepared and finished, the home now boasts a crisp, modern look while retaining its natural warmth and character.
As the final touches were applied, the Swanbourne residence stood renewed—a seamless blend of contemporary style, expert craftsmanship, and lasting durability.
