A Modern Family Sanctuary:

Situated in the desirable suburb of East Fremantle, this 2007-built family home spans 507 square meters. Featuring 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 parking spaces, it exuded comfort and style. Our team set out to refresh its interior spaces, ensuring every surface was prepared and painted to perfection, blending durability with a flawless finish.

Preparing the Ceilings and Cornices:

The journey began with a thorough preparation of the ceilings and cornices. We carefully removed dirt, dust, grease, and loose paint to create a clean surface. In areas where surfaces were bare, Dulux Total Prep undercoat was applied for optimal adhesion. Imperfections were patched and sanded smooth. To achieve an even, professional look, two coats of Dulux Professional ceiling flat were applied. In wet areas, we used Dulux Kitchen & Bathroom Anti Mould paint to prevent mould growth. When visible stains were present, Dulux PRECISION® High Opacity Stain Blocker was used to prevent any bleed-through.

Revitalising the Walls:

Prior to painting, we prepared the walls by removing dirt, dust, grease, and loose paint. Minor imperfections were patched and sanded to ensure a smooth surface. We then applied two full coats of Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen or Matt paint, creating a durable and attractive finish that withstands everyday family life.

Finishing Touches on Doors, Frames, and Skirting Boards:

For a lasting, high-quality finish, we began by cleaning and preparing all doors, door frames, and skirting boards. When surfaces were bare, Dulux Total Prep undercoat was used to prime the surface and ensure solid adhesion. Any imperfections were smoothed out with patching and sanding. The final step involved applying two coats of Dulux Aqua Enamel Semi Gloss, providing a resilient, long-lasting surface that’s easy to clean and maintain. Dulux Acrasheild was chosen for its superior protective qualities, especially on areas prone to wear and tear, adding an extra layer of durability.

This comprehensive approach not only refreshed the home’s interior but also ensured a durable, high-quality finish that will stand the test of time, creating a welcoming and beautiful environment for the family to enjoy.
