In selecting Barker-Whittle, the Operator took into account not only price, but also experience. Given our long history of working in a wide variety of environments across the Sate’s northwest and offshore regions, as well as our large contingent of professionally-accredited painters, and our proven value for money, we had considered ourselves to be a strong contender for the work. However, we were informed that it was also our company’s firm commitment to safety and environmental concerns that was equally important in gaining us this project.

As with any offshore work, all our painters had to have HUET (Helicopter Survival) training before commencing the work, and needed to be able to work well in a team environment with a number of other contractors working on a busy site.
